Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to be responsible to independently manage financial accounting and reporting for our Asendia Oceania (Australia & New Zealand) legal entities. This role is reporting to the APAC Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and the incumbent is to be working remotely based out of Singapore. This role will be responsible for Oceania financial accounting, reporting, tax and audit matters, and will work closely with local outsource partners in Australia/New Zealand who will continue to support on matters such as payroll, vendor payments, GST returns, and Annual accounts and analysis of the P&L and balance sheets of the legal entities.

Your Tasks

 

Responsible for financial accounting of the entities such as preparation and handling of full set financial accounts; month/

Responsible for weekly/monthly billing, invoice data & Accounts Receivables/Payables reconciliation.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents and local outsource partners with regards to financial matters.

Preparation of Profits & Loss/Cost Analysis with the monthly closing and creating the business review document.

Management reporting of the entities in variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting activities.

Support the invoicing team for the entities (as required)

Support the APAC FP&A manager on regional tasks from time to time.

Any ad-hoc activities as assigned.

 

 

Your Profile

 

Degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant disciplines; or with equivalent relevant work experience.

Minimum 5 years of working experience.

Extensive knowledge of finance and management reporting.

Prior work experience in SAP Finance module is preferred.

Good communications & interpersonal skills to interact and collaborate with different stakeholders.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team.

Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).

E-Commerce/Logistics industry experience is a plus.
